SAPGenie is a portal that helps me acheive the vision of sharing SAP information with the masses and now we have launched "Genie Press" to further that vision. It can be found at http://www.geniepress.com. We are going to dedicate this publishing leg of SAPGenie.COM and GenieHoldings.COM inc. to publishing SAP related books. We have 2 manuscripts on the table that will be launched in January, 2006. Following that we have another due in January and 7 more in the pipeline. It's exciting times at SAPGenie, I tell you...
What does Genie Press do for you? Simply put, we'll help take your word manuscript out to the SAP community by publishing it. In a very professional and honest manner we'll take your book to Amazon and other marketing channels to give it the best chance of success and we'll split the royalties with you. Mosy importantly though you will retain the rights to your work.
All right then, let's get those aspiring authors to contact me....

SAPGenie News

It's been a LONGGG time since my last entry. We have over 7700 forum users, average about 10 SAP jobs a day, over 900 SAP resumes on line, great sponsors, good services provided to our users and as always, great content.
If you are an SAP expert and wish to get involved and contribute just let me know. Great exposure for all who contribute to the site.
Thanks, have a great weekend.

SAPGenie and Catwalk conference launch SAP related event capability

SAPgenie is proud to announce our latest endeavor in collaboration media…i.e. Web-conferencing, web-presentations and web-meetings.

SAPgenie and CatwalkConference.com have partnered to provide a unique and exclusive “webinar” service that allows the SAPgenie users to frequently log-on and view FREE presentations, product demos and information based events.

For the SAPgenie users the benefits are:
o	Our user base can now have the advantage of joining:
-	ANY event
-	at ANYTIME
-	FREE of charge.
o	They can pick and choose from a list of events, presentations and demo’s are only limited to the number of user the hosts allow.

For the SAPgenie hosts/business representatives the benefits are:
o	A means to accomplish business goals at lower costs, more efficiently.
o	Visual representation of the message that is to be given – show people, rather than tell them.
o	This service allows Host to market, present, promote, and disseminate information and train people on products, projects and solutions. Take our very own JavaGenie from South Africa. Alistair Rooney is his name and Java's his game... Then there's Chris Carter (nephew of former President Carter) lending his enormous expertise in the area of outsourcing. Jim Cameron of Expertig (XI, EAI, xAPPS), Volker from Germany doing a great job helping us keep OSS understandable (with his easy Service marketplace), Jo Spencer doing a sterling job in the forums as moderator, of course Jon Reed a household name by now in the SAP community giving us his exclusive "SAPGenie scoop", Joy Rama (Basis), Jude Lobo (BW), Asriel (RF Console), Yvette Smith (Security) and of course my partner in crime Martin.
We wouldn't be able to do all this without you guys so a big thanks to the team. I look forward to continue working with you guys and gals and I also look forward to new contributors coming on board. Typically they want to know which courses to take.... My answer is always the same. Join a company that is implementing SAP and get on to the core implementation team, find an area that is good for you and work your butt off for 2 years learning that module inside out. Then take a consulting job with someone who can get you on another project. Work there and then on at least 2 others to bring your experience to at least 4 projects before considering going it alone..... Training, is a little overrated especially trying to break in to the industry. It's good once you're in to sharpen your skills, and even then I would recommend computer based trainging CRRoms so that you can consult and learn simultaneously. Good luck.....

On the search for contributors

We're always on the lookout for good quality content so if you have some stuff that you think could be useful to other consultants shoot it over to us for publishing.

Automated link posting

We have also added the ability for you to automatically add your SAP relevant links.
